The Eaton Tripp Lite Series BP180RT is a 180V external battery module (EBM) designed to extend the runtime of select 5kVA–6kVA SmartOnline UPS systems. Housed in a 3U form factor, it features hot-swappable, user-replaceable VRLA batteries and includes heavy-gauge DC cabling for safe and simple installation.
The BP180RT supports both rackmount (4-post) and upright tower configurations, with optional 2-post mounting available. Ideal for critical power backup in small business, education, healthcare, retail, and financial environments, this EBM can be daisy-chained (up to 4 total units) for even longer runtime.
