SIP — self-supporting insulated overhead conductors
Insulated aluminium conductors for overhead low-voltage distribution, branches to building service entries and approved installation along façades. This ICG Supply catalogue uses the short commercial name SIP; the manufacturer's exact grade (for example SIP-4 / СИП-4) is specified and confirmed in the technical datasheet for the supplied item.
Range
Current listed sizes: 2×16, 2×25, 2×35, 4×25, 4×35 and 4×50 mm². Other sizes including 4×16, 4×70 and 4×95 mm² may be sourced upon technical confirmation. Confirm exact factory grade and required length.
Typical technical reference — SIP-4
Rated voltage 0.6/1 kV AC, 50 Hz; compact stranded aluminium conductors; black UV-stabilised XLPE insulation, without a separate supporting neutral conductor. Reference manufacturer ambient −60…+50 °C; installation no colder than −20 °C; minimum bend 10× outside diameter. Actual conductor and insulation dimensions, permissible current and mechanical loading depend on the producer and construction.
