Busbar insulators secure live busbars inside power cabinets and assemblies and insulate them from the enclosure and assembly panels. Power conductors are then connected to distribute electricity within the panel.
One side of the insulator is bolted to the mounting plate or enclosure, and the live busbar is attached to the other side. Each busbar is mounted on at least two insulators, one at each end. Intermediate insulators may also be fitted depending on the mounting arrangement and busbar length.
